Miraglia started Miraglia's tradition of excellence
in Bay Area catering in 1948. Today, our staff
combines the best of the past with the fabulous
cuisine of today.
What began as a hobby for a butcher and a
few employees in a small Oakland meat market
has grown into a business well known for its
creativity and attention to the smallest detail.
Jim passed the torch on to his son, Michael,
and Michael’s wife Cheryl in 1978. Jim’s
youngest son, Tom, also works in the business
and the tradition is in its third generation
with Jim’s grandsons.
Highly respected in the industry, Miraglia
employs some 20 full-time staff in its 11,000
square foot facility in San Leandro and has
a cadre of more than100 event staff on call.
